Conflict resolution processes

Time frame:
Punctual usage

Complexity: 4/5

Background & Purpose

The conflict resolution mechanisms includes: one-on-one discussion, mediation by a peer and mediation by a panel, (individual coaching).
Phase 1: the two people sit together and try to sort it out privately.
Phase 2 (if necessary): nominate a colleague both trust to act as a mediator (supports the participants in coming to their own solution – same in phase 2-4).
Phase 3 (if necessary): a panel of topic-relevant colleagues is convened.
Phase 4 (if necessary): the founder/president is called into the panel to add to panel’s moral weight.
